The Easter Season is celebrated by Christians to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. • 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp. dry mustard powder
• 1/3 apricot jam
• 10 pound fully-cooked hamTo start, preheat your oven to 135⁰C. Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl except for the ham then set aside. Place the ham into a sheet of aluminium foil and brush the ham with the mixture you had prepared with a barbecue brush. Cover the ham with the foil and put it on a rimmed baking sheet. Begin to roast the ham for about 2 hours in the oven. Approximately 14 minutes is estimated for every pound.
Another on the list for the Easter dinner menu includes Garlic and Herb Lamb. You will need the following:
• 1 ½ tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. crushed and dried rosemary
• ½ black pepper
• 2 tsp. dried dill weed
• 3 cloves garlic sliced into slivers
• 1 leg of lambJust like any other over-roasted recipe, you will start by preheating your oven to 165⁰C. Slice a small part of the leg of the lamb with a knife just enough to insert garlic. Combine together the salt, rosemary and dill and rub it over the leg. Place lamb on the rack in a roasting pan. Roast the lamb for about 2-2 ½ hours to a temperature of 68⁰C. Cover with aluminum foil and let it stand for about 15-20 minutes. Serve.
